Our life was not always adrift

We are full-time slow travelers without much of a plan. We are learning to live a life that is more simple, slower, richer.  When we are in the US, we love to camp, hike, and road trip. When we spend time in Europe we enjoy exploring history, culture, and nature.  We love hiking in the Alps as much as living the good life in the Mediterranean.

Before setting out on this adventure in 2018, we were a typical fast-paced suburban family in the San Francisco Bay area. The kids spent long days in public school, in after school programs, and sports. Mom was slowly going bonkers juggling the many hats of being a mom:  full-time work as Human Resources Director, volunteering, coaching, mom-taxi, and much more.

When the grandparents suddenly needed some assistance, our new lifestyle slowly took shape. We simply took off to be close to them, and after 2 years of living a life adrift, we are fascinated with the process of slowing down and simplifying.

If our stories and life lessons inspire you, please let us know. In my coaching practice I partner with people who seek to transform their lives or their careers.
